Ghana Export Promotion Council
The Ghana Export Promotion Council (GEPC) is the public agency tasked with promoting Ghana's non-traditional products in international markets. The Council also provides private and government parties with a range of market information and statistical trade data services. Exporters receive business advisory services, product development assistance and representation at major trade events.

GEPC is a public organisation working under the aegis of the Ministry of Trade and Industry. Ghana's impressive economic growth over the past decade has led to its distinction among African nations as a supplier of unique and high quality products. Our goal is to support the country's continued growth through direct assistance to private enterprises.

GEPC's Data Processing Department is tasked with the collection, analysis, storage and retrieval of Ghanaian trade data. The Department also issues the Export Performance Report which details Ghana's performance in the non-traditional export sector.

Statistics and Data Processing
The Information and Documentation Centre contains GEPC's library holdings, including international trade data, sectoral reports, business journals and other market information publications, both electronic and hard copy versions. There are currently over 8,000 document records in the Centres information database. The use of the Centre's facilities is primarily intended for registered exporters, government personnel, researchers and prospective exporters.

Market Research
GEPC offers a wide range of market information services to its clients. These include the Ghanaian Export Performance Quarterly, international market surveys, and price reports for non-traditional products.

The Emporium
The Emporium was established 1983 as a showroom for displaying Ghana's representative export products. It also serves to link producers with buyers interested in their products for purchase or export. The Emporium offers a wide selection of products which include artefacts, carvings, leather and straw bags and baskets, ceramics, intricately designed, authentic, culturally rich kente cloths and stoles, batik and tie-dye garments, beads, and other items. The showroom is open to the public from 0800 hr to 1700 hr on weekdays. Most display items are also available for immediate purchase.

Zonal Offices
In addition to GEPC's central offices in Accra, three zonal offices have been established at Takoradi (Western, Central Regions), Kumasi (Ashanti, Brong Ahafo Regions) and Bolgatanga (Northern, Upper East Region, Upper West Regions). These offices assist GEPC in the facilitation of services and export activities throughout the country.
